Facilities and Utilities Engineer

- Collaborate with production, engineering, and service providers to resolve facilities issues
- Coordinate with maintenance planner and contractors
- Ensure BWOF and trade waste compliance
- Oversee calibrations and routine maintenance
- Assist Engineering Manager with continuous improvement efforts
- Communicate effectively with production and planning teams
- Support engineering team with machine maintenance

**Qualifications and attributes required**:

- 5+ years in facilities maintenance, ideally in food manufacturing or related fields
- Trade qualification or equivalent experience preferred
- Proficiency with boilers, chillers, HVAC, compressed air systems, BMS, and BWOF requirements
- Experience in preventative maintenance and CMMS tools
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement
- Adaptable and effective in high-pressure, 24/7 manufacturing environments

The hours for this position are 42 hours per week, from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. There will be occasional rostered Saturdays, overtime and call outs.

- Trade qualified
- Proven track record in facilities & utilities co-ordination
- HVAC experience
- A team player with a good attitude
