Position Description | Quality Improvement Lead

**The position is**:

- Full-time, based within Te Ara Maioha, Te Whatu Ora Tairāwhiti (Gisborne Hospital)
- Ideal for an applicant with knowledge of mental health and addictions services
- Provides opportunities for new learning in a dynamic and changing environment

**What you'll do**:

- Lead quality improvement activities to support the delivery of evidence based best practice in whānau centred care
- Initiate, lead and implement service development plans and projects in quality and clinical improvement
- Work in partnership with Te Ara Maioha Leadership, Clinical Leadership and Quality teams, clinicians and kaimahi to embed our Tairāwhiti way of working.
- Develop, access and maintain systems that measure, monitor and address tangata whaiora satisfaction and feedback including Complaints, Critical Incident Management systems and Feedback Informed Treatment
- Take a lead role in ensuring Health and Disability Standards are met and upheld, through Policy frameworks, Audit, Accreditation and Compliance provisions
- Work to eliminate health outcomes inequity particularly for Māori, tangata whaiora and their whānau
