Transmission Line Mechanic

**KEY DELIVERABLES OF THE ROLE**
- In this role you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of live/de-energised conductors, hardware, and structures used in the National Transmission Grid, including as required the erection, repair, and/or dismantling of assets. You will follow work to all and safety procedures as well as statutory requirements.**ABOUT YOU - Required Skills and Competencies**
- EWRB registered level 4 certified transmission line mechanic (Advantageous).
- Testing and Electrical Safety.
- First Aid and CPR
- Experience climbing transmission towers and or similar.
- Valid driver’s license and experience driving appropriate vehicles on all roads, terrain, and weather conditions; Heavy truck license preferred.
- Excellent attitude to SHEQ.
- Physically fit especially with regards to heavy lifting, stretching, and climbing.
- Comfortability with working at heights.
