As we continue to progress our transformational journey, are seeking the support of a high calibre Finance Business Partner. Proactively supporting the business unit with timely (weekly and monthly) financial reports and advice to help to manage the day-to-day business requirements and execute tactical and strategic decisions.

**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**

This role has full oversight of P&L and Balance Sheet for the business unit, ensuring control, accuracy, predictability, and timely delivery of results.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner you will:

- Partner with Regional Managers and BU managers in the preparation of financial reports which accurately reflect the conditions and performance of the business.
- Drive cost awareness and a culture of continuous improvement that support the achievement of strategic and operational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
- Manage month-end close, including management of statutory reporting, local tax requirements, and cash flow.
- Provide insights into the weekly and monthly financial results.
- Monitor balance sheet and ensure appropriate reporting exists around major operating and capital expenditure projects.
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with senior management to provide decision support across all areas of the business.
- Effectively transfer of knowledge to broader finance teams as appropriate.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a hands-on approach, seeing challenges as an opportunity for personal development. You will have experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.

Additionally, you will have:

- Full CA/CPA/CFA qualification
- Experience working in median to large complex organisations.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex data, identify trends and draw conclusions.
- Experience prioritising work to meet commitments aligned with organisational goals.
- Bachelor of Commerce with Finance/Accounting focus
- Strong Balance Sheet Reconciliation Experience and P&L Analysis
- Experience managing month-end close and providing insights into financial results
