Jack's Point is consistently rated amongst the top golf courses in New Zealand and is currently rated #2 in the country. The 18-hole par 72 championship course opened for play in November 2008 and has forged a reputation as a 'must play golf course’ for all golfing abilities in New Zealand's top golf destination, Queenstown.

The course has been designed in harmony with the natural environment, weaving through native tussock grasslands, dramatic rock outcrops, steep bluffs and swathes of native bush to the edge of Lake Wakatipu. The presentation of the course is second to none, which makes Jack’s Point one of the world’s great golfing experiences.

Jack's Point Golf Course operates with Toro golf course equipment and Toro Site Pro II irrigation system. It is also GEO Environmentally Certified having received two Awards Internationally.

The course is open for all visitors to enjoy 7 days a week in season.

**About the Role**

Our Groundspersons help to ensure the maintenance, care, overall presentation and health of our grounds. The role includes landscape management, operating machinery, weeding, planting, fertilising, spraying and propagation.

This is a great opportunity to become involved in maintaining a renowned golf course in an unrivalled, alpine setting. We can provide extensive on the job training so it is a great opportunity to grow your skills and experience in the industry.

**About You**
- Previous experience on a golf course or farmland operations would be advantageous but not essential
- Experience working with golf, mowing and/or farm machinery
- Growsafe certificate desirable, however training can be provided
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a can-do approach
- Passionate about golfing and the environment
- Must be good with machinery, operating it safely/efficiently and taking care of it
- A good understanding of all health and safety requirements
- Friendly, professional and active team contributor
- A positive and enthusiastic can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Sound time management skills
- An excellent eye for detail
- High level of personal presentation
- Good health, physical fitness and comfortable working outdoors
- Flexibility with working hours/rosters and early starts
- Own transport as Jack's Point is located 20 minutes from the centre of Queenstown
- Applicants for this position should have NZ citizenship/residency or a NZ work visa with a minimum of 8 months validity._
