A specific focus of this role includes providing support and intervention to Tamariki and Rangatahi presenting with acute distress.
The remuneration range for this role is $77,087-$107,600 and is covered by the collective agreement: ALLIED, PUBLIC HEALTH, SCIENTIFIC & TECHNICAL COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT EXPIRES 30 JUNE 2025

**About you**
It is desirable the successful applicant will be a registered practitioner (nurse or social worker)with current practicing certificate and minimum of two years’ experience working with tamariki and rangatahi with mental health challenges. Also needed:
- a strong whānau centric focus
- ability to build relationships and collaborate with whānau and community networks to offer a range of interventions as indicated by whānau.
- Acknowledgment and an understanding of Te Ao Māori is also desirable as Tairāwhiti has a strong iwi and cross sector leadership recognising Māori as tangata whenua, as a result Tairāwhiti is a culturally significant and innovative region.
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth _(mandatory)_
