As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work with both employers and employees and develop advocacy skills and specialist knowledge in employment law. In this role you will work alongside an award-winning barrister and their exceptional team, the firm's focus is on achieving the best outcomes for clients. This will be rewarding and challenging work with court exposure early on. The office is in the CBD, the role will be a mix of work from home and in the office. Whether you are at home or in the office there is daily communication with the team to discuss your cases and workload.

Some of your duties will be:

- Representing clients in court proceedings related to employment law, in the Employment Court, High Court, Employment Relations Authority, and Court of Appeal.
- Handling disputes and personal grievances that arise in the workplace.
- Providing legal advice on business restructuring and redundancies.
- Providing guidance on employment legislation to help clients avoid costly disputes and grievances.
- Advising clients on health and safety issues in the workplace.
- Drafting or reviewing employment agreements and policies to ensure compliance with the latest law changes.
- Handling disciplinary processes for clients.
- Negotiating managed exits and exit packages for clients to obtain the best possible outcome.
- Representing clients at professional disciplinary hearings.

Overall, your job will involve a wide range of employment representation, negotiation, mediation, and advisory work. You will build relationships with very good clients and work with great people. If this sounds interesting to you, I would love to hear from you.
