We work on all makes of light vehicles and light commercials. We are now looking for 1-2 permanent vehicle painter to join our supportive team.

Job Duties:

- Sanding surfaces by hand and with power sanders
- Removing rough spots on vehicle panels
- Treating vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals
- Mix and blend paint to achieve desired colours and textures, adhering to project specifications and design requirements.
- Balance, layer and touch up colours and polish the surface
- Communicate with motor mechanics or clients about the preferred colour and design
- Check finished paint jobs to ensure the required quality standards
- Maintain a strict adherence to safety protocols and ensure work areas are clean and organized post-completion.

Applicants must:

- Have at least three years of relevant working experience or have a relevant NZ level 4 qualification
- Be a good team player

Pay rate from $29.66 per hour depending on skills and experience.

35 hours per week from Monday to Friday. Location: Hamilton.
