- Location: Auckland, NZ, 0624- Onsite or Hybrid: Hybrid**Babcock New Zealand **is looking for an** Integrated Workforce Planner to** join our Project Controls team on the** **_Devonport Naval Base._**
**About the role**
As the Workforce Planner you will undertake a variety resource related tasks, primarily workforce modelling at the organisational and functional level.
You will also be responsible for analysing, forecasting, and planning for the workforce supply and demand, assessing gaps, and determining interventions to ensure your team’s key deliverables are met.
As an integral part of the team, you will ensure that Babcock has the right people in place at the right time.
**Key responsibilities**
- Develop and implement an organisation Workforce Plan which takes into consideration future growth and capacity
- Undertake workforce modelling at enterprise and unit levels that uses timely data and other business intelligence to match supply with demand.
- Establish regular meetings with the delivery function and function teams to understand the resourcing requirements for projects and deliver solutions.
- Develop and maintain a schedule forecast of resource supply and demand, for resources.
- Analyse and report on resource shortfalls and risks due to trends, along with impacts of leave and vacancy.
- Forecast and trend future resource requirements and options.
- Producing reports and data that is required by the Leadership team to assist them to make strategic decisions around resourcing and capacity.
**About you**
You will bring with you a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a Defence, Marine or Engineering field. You will have a collaborative nature but will also thrive on your own in the deep end.
