- ** Residential Support Worker (AM/PM/Awake)**:

- **Permanent, Full-time **_(40 hours per week)_
- **Service operates 24 hours, 7 days a week on a rotating roster **_(AM/PM/Awake shifts)_
- **Pay Equity: $22.49ph - $28.25ph** _(depending on qualification held and its equivalence to the Certificate in Health and Wellbeing L4)_

**The Service**:
In our Hamilton residential services, we use a talented and effective multi-disciplinary team that delivers residential, clinical and support programmes for high and complex needs, for individuals from adult mental health and forensic mental health services.

By utilising different skills, knowledge, and experiences (personal and professional) we offer our whai ora support to build daily routines, offering on-going tools and encouragement to develop, grow and flourish.

Hamilton is our largest residential facility with three services:

- Hohou Rongo
- Waatea
- Piki te Ora

**Role**:
Support Workers/Kaimahi, we believe, are the key ingredient for successful client outcomes. With our model of working, you will utilise your experience, skills, and knowledge of mental health rehabilitation to overcome any obstacles and barriers our whai ora may face.

We are looking for those who can embrace the breadth and variety of the role, which ranges from basic practical help to pioneering therapeutic support.

**You will**:

- Have a National Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 or equivalent
- Full NZ Drivers Licence
- Hold a valid/current work visa, residency, or citizenship
- Have client centred, recovery-focused approach. You must unwaveringly believe in people’s ability to progress no matter the obstacles.
- Have knowledge of mental health rehabilitation approaches (e.g., cognitive remediation, psychosocial rehabilitation), experience working with co-occurring addictions and/or cognitive difficulties and knowledge of Māori health approaches would be welcomed.
- Have a passion for walking along side those in need, supporting on-going goals on the pathway to recovery.
