Do you have a special interest in working with Tamariki and their families? We are looking for a motivated and experienced Registered Social worker to deliver high quality care service for patients admitted to the paediatric ward.

**The essential requirements for this position are**:
NZ Registered Social Worker with current annual practicing certificate (AP).
Bachelor of Social Work Degree (or higher) recognised by New Zealand Social Work Registration Board.
Strong communication skills
Excellent understanding and commitment of the Treaty of Waitangi are essential.
Flexibility, a willingness to learn, an ability to work autonomously and fantastic problem-solving skills.
Experience working with children, young people and their whanau
Thorough knowledge of the health and social issues that vulnerable children and their family's experience
Knowledge of key child protection legislation
