NEP New Zealand is currently looking for a **Network Engineer **to undertake a key role based in our Engineering team at our Parnell studio facility.
**The position**
The **Network Engineer** is responsible for the efficient set up, operational condition, calibration, and signal standards of the Hub, OB and Studio and playout systems and other associated equipment assigned to projects.
**Key responsibilities include but not limited to**:
- Ensure network eco-systems are acceptably stable and responsive to Hub, studio and playout and field engineering staff.
- Maintain network security protocols and SOP.
- Maintain proper documentation of all network systems.
- Provide technical support for NEP broadcast network systems throughout the mobile fleet.
- Fulfil the role of Network Engineer on all Hub projects.
**Required skills and attributes included but not limited to**:
- Advanced understanding of technical workflow solutions and production workflow requirements.
- Advanced understanding of signal flow OB and IP trucks/flyaway kit/Hub control rooms.
- Advanced fault finding of equipment failures.
- Advanced understanding of TCP IP and networking.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent and/or consecutive jobs.
- Advanced time management and prioritisation skills.
