An extremely successful and well-established NZ owned importer and distributor operating in the health and aged care sector, are looking for a 2 IC to support their Warehouse Manager.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated team player with a 'can-do' attitude to join this busy team. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to get the job done right is essential.

Assisting the Warehouse Manager in this hands-on role your duties will include:

- Managing storage and flow of inventory in the warehouse
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
- Identifying issues and non-conforming orders
- Receive and check customer returns and verify faults
- Receive incoming containers and stock shipments
- Assisting with cycle counts and stock takes
- Coordinating logistics requirements, and liaising with freight company to ensure the results/timeframes needing to be met are achieved
- Continually looking at ways to improving processes and minimize errors
- Providing ongoing staff training and support
- Maintaining an organised and well-functioning warehouse environment
- Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are adhered to and any hazards reported

To be successful in this role you will have proven warehousing, distribution and stock management experience as well as the ability to think on your feet, resolve any issues that arise and provide support and guidance to the team

**You will also have the following**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Be self-motivated, mature and responsible
- Friendly, hardworking and reliable nature
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to think on your feet and operate efficiently
- Excellent communication skills
- Good computer skills
- Physically fit and able as this is a hands-on role
- A strong attention to detail
- Health and Safety conscious
- Full Driver's Licence
- Forklift Licence and MPI qualification an advantage
- Able to pass a Drug Test
