At Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga | Ministry of Education, we work to provide services and support nationally, regionally and locally to the education sector, and in some cases, directly to ākonga and whānau.

We are recruiting an **Enterprise Architect** to join our team here at Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga. You will be at the helm of a complex and leading digital environment where the work you do will improve the way parents, teachers and ākonga engage.

The salary band for this role is $155,481 - $ 190,032 depending on skills, experience and relativity. _We are looking to appoint this role around the midpoint of this band._

As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for developing technology strategy and architecture for the New Zealand Education System.

Are you someone who can bring:

- Extensive experience in Application Architecture, in particular a Senior / Lead Architect capacity
- Prior experience leading technology strategies whilst balancing business and technology requirements
- Particular interest and exposure to Information Management and Data Analytics
- Highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
- Capacity to work under pressure to ensure that critical timeframes are met
- Strong leadership skills; you will be able to influence and persuade
- The ability to think strategically and conceptualize complex ideas.
- Be an excellent team player who is inclusive, collaborative, supportive and a great mentor.

Te Puna Hanganga, Matihiko | Infrastructure & Digital - Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga | Ministry of Education, leads inclusive, accessible and integrated national, digital and physical infrastructure and transport services to the education system.

You will join our ICT Strategy, Planning & Architecture team. We provide ICT advice, support and solutions across the Ministry of Education.
