Multimedia Journalist

We’re looking for a skilled journalist with flair and tenacity. It should go without saying you have a passion for news, a track record of finding great stories, building contacts and the ability and drive to foot it in today’s ultra-competitive media environment.

If you fit the bill for this role you’ll have experience working in a major news environment in a reporting role. You’ll have covered a wide range of topics, displaying great news judgment and an ability to handle daily story assignments, breaking news events and longer features. You’ll know where to find news. You’re original in your reporting skills and thought, including developing and maintaining sources and extending news coverage in new ways.

You’ll have a great contact book, be a multitasker, balancing priorities, projects and tasks with ease. You’re super organised and not worried by changing priorities. You are also a natural communicator, adjusting to changing environments and situations - and all with a positive outlook.

The reporting role is full time and will operate across a 7-day roster.
