Our team is looking for a Social Worker who wants to make a difference. We conduct bio-psycho-social assessment and therapeutic social work interventions with adults across the acute, rehabilitation and integrated stroke wards at North Shore Hospital. There will also be the requirement to work in the Emergency Department out-of-hours roster for weekends and public holidays.

Safe guarding adults at risk is a core component of health social work.

You will enjoy working within a learning organisation that encourages your personal career growth and development. We provide regular professional supervision and ongoing support and training opportunities.

You must hold a Bachelor of Social Work degree or MSW (applied) and be registered with the New Zealand SWRB, or equivalent overseas registration and be committed to working towards NZ registration. ANZASW membership and previous hospital experience is preferred.
