**The Opportunity | Te kōwhiringa**

Our National Pavement Preservation Business is rapidly growing with plenty of exciting projects to work on. We have great opportunity for an experienced foreperson to lead the Emulsion Preservation Crew. The team will be looking at you to lead them day-to-day to carrying out toolbox meetings, develop crew brief plans and whilst developing a one team approach to deliver emulsion preservation seals. Your duties will involve guiding and directing the small team, operating some machinery as well as doing what’s necessary to deliver an outstanding job whilst meeting all Health, Safety, and Quality requirements. So, if you enjoy spending your days outdoors and, on your feet, then this could be the position for you.

In this role you will be providing leadership by planning, providing direction and controlling activities whilst working alongside the team in the field ensuring that work is completed to the satisfaction of our customers whilst ensuring all production targets are met.

You will have the opportunity to travel across the country perfecting your craft within the crew during our busy periods.

**Important Skills | Nga pūkenga matua**

You will bring with you experience leading a crew along with your industry experience.
- Surfacing expertise with experience operating as a Foreperson
- Minimum Class 4 full New Zealand Driver’s licence
- High standard of workmanship and quality focus
- Excellent communication skills - with the ability to communicate with stakeholders.
- A keen eye for safety to ensure everybody goes home at the end of each day.
- The ability to build a cohesive team working together and for each other.
