Our Essilor team in **Henderson** is looking for an Optical Worker or Mechanic with experience in Optical Edging and Fitting, QC and Optical Tinting. With a total focus on providing our customers with the best possible experience we are looking for a confident and dedicated person who is committed to producing quality products - first time, every time. Our teams work efficiently and collaboratively to produce quality products and deliver to a high level of customer and consumer satisfaction.
You will need to be an excellent team player, have strong personal motivation along with an enthusiastic attitude and excellent communication skills. Our Optical Fitting lab team work across the lab, and during the day may focus on tasks such as:
- Marking up and blocking optical lenses
- Edging of optical lenses
- Fitting variety of lens types such as rimless, nylon, shell and metal frames
- Tinting
- Final quality checking of completed fitting jobs.
- Pre Quality Control and tracing a variety of frame types
- Quality Control Other critical requirements for the position are:_
- Fine motor skills and ability to handle individual lenses carefully throughout the coating process
- Highly organised with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- High attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, proactive, enthusiastic
