**The Opportunity**
Aon has a rare opportunity for an Account Broker to join the Whakatane branch.
This role would see you supporting two Account Managers with day-to-day administration that includes directly supporting clients within their portfolios to contribute to the overall success. You will engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders through the day and build positive relationships. We will provide on the job training, a fun and encouraging team culture and lots of room for career development.
**You would be responsible for**:
- Assisting with client quotes and renewals
- Working with clients’ insurance providers
There will be a focus on strong customer service and integrity including attention to detail and ensuring that clients experience good outcomes.
**About you**
To hit the ground running, you should have:
- Previous administrative experience in insurance or financial services would be an advantage
- Excellent time management skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work well in a team but also confident to work on your own
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word).
You can demonstrate strong customer service skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes and have a proactive skillset, using your initiative to assist customers.
