What we need from you:

- Staten Eatery is all about eating great food and getting great service, so you need to live by these values.
- Provide tailored service to restaurant and conference guests
- Taking orders/payments, interacting with guests, delivering food and beverages, cleaning and maintaining dining and service areas (conference included), allocating tasks and supervising frontline staff, assisting the restaurant manager with general supervisory tasks.
- This will be a mainly breakfast based role, so Barista experience will be favourable.
- The Staten eatery will also cater to the function business within the Mercure Abel Tasman Hotel, so set ups and maintaining this area is part of the role
- Be a team player and excellent communicator
- Have a positive can do attitude and bring your best every day
- No specific qualification is necessary, however previous experience of at least one year within a Hotel or Restaurant and/or supervisory role would be advantageous
