**The role**
- Reporting to the Distribution team Leader this role will see you co-ordinate and control the day-to-day activities occurring within the Distribution Centre and support the movement of products including all subsequent paperwork and truck movements. In addition to this you will:

- Provide support for Team Leaders in ensuring customer orders are compiled accurately and are available and delivered on time
- Ensure customers (including transport operators) are always treated in a responsive and caring manner
- Carry out pre-pick and loadout checks and assign accountability
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and report results to the Inventory Manager
- Ensure the right safety behaviours, processes, and ways of working are reinforced

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will be a strong, clear, and confident communicator who is resilient and composed during times of pressure. In addition to this you will have:

- 2+ years of experience in a dispatch team and/or industrial work experience in a large distribution or logistics environment
- A forklift license (required) and health & safety certification (preferred)
- The ability to problem solve and make sound decisions
- Exposure to JDE or similar Warehouse Management System and basic MS Office skills
- Experience working with mechanical handling equipment (MHE) and dangerous goods, and understanding of legislative requirements
