Your Opportunity

Team Global Express are looking for a Linehaul Driver to join their team in Dunedin. The Driver will aid work colleagues and the team in the effective, timely and safe handling of freight. You will hold a Class 5 and Dangerous Goods license and have a truck and trailer experience. You will be travelling from Dunedin to Christchurch daily.

You will need to demonstrate an ability to own and possess a superb customer focus, passion for new challenges, have a non-attributable accident-free driving record; be reliable and well-presented along with a focus on doing your job safely.

You will also be reliable, hardworking and show pride in your work and equipment. In return, Toll offers a secure working environment and a strong commitment to employee training, welfare, and health & safety. All applicants are required to complete a full medical and security check.

Duties & responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely
- Ensure freight is handled with minimum damage
- Scan all freight
- Participate in all safety procedures
- Operate all vehicles in a safe manner
- Maintain, clean and tidy vehicles.
- Required need to work all public holidays except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Skills & Experience
- Customer-focussed attitude
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Full NZ Class 5 licence
- Dangerous Goods endorsement
- Truck/Trailer driving experience
- Experience driving on New Zealand roads
