D&D Orchards Limited looking for at least 2 Nursery Assistants to join our team in our Bay of Plenty-based nurseries.

To be considered for this position youll ideally have industry experience including at least 6 months experience in either orchard, horticulture, agriculture or farming industry. You should be able to work independently to reach goals. You must be able to multitask and will be able to complete work in set time frames.

**Job Description & Requirements**:

- Care and Production of plants in the Nursery
- Production of plants to a high standard and specific requirements
- Grafting of plants and control of the manual and automatic watering system
- Keeping records of soil mixtures, plantings, treatments, losses and yields, general plant care and monitoring for irregularities
- Advising on plant care for local conditions
- Maintain inventory, ordering materials as required
- Specific duties and tasks are to be assigned by the employer from time to time.

This is a full-time permanent position based in the Bay of Plenty region, requiring the successful applicant to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Pay rate is $29.66 per hour.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
