Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain drill rigs and associated equipment, ensuring safe and efficient drilling operations.
- Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Interpret drilling plans and instructions, and execute drilling operations accordingly.
- Monitor drilling parameters and make necessary adjustments to ensure accurate drilling depths and angles.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the drilling process.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
- Collaborate with the project team, including engineers and geologists, to coordinate drilling activities and achieve project objectives.
- Keep accurate records of drilling activities, including logs, equipment maintenance, and any incidents or issues encountered.
- Provide training and guidance to junior drill rig operators, as required.
