**ROLE SUMMARY**:

- ACG Parnell College is a leading co-educational, non-denominational, independent school based in Parnell, Central Auckland providing world class education to students from year 0-13. Our primary campus is tailored to provide an excellent learning environment for students, delivering both Cambridge and NZ Curriculums.- We require an enthusiastic and capable primary Art Teacher for full-time hours who is able to deliver motivational and differentiated lessons that cater for student’s individual needs. The successful applicant will be very well organised, enjoy working as a part of a supportive team, and be willing to contribute to the life of our school. This is a permanent, full-time role which is due to commence term 1 2025.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Teach art in primary school setting, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment.
- Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities within your classes to maximise student development.
- Develop excellent working relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Ensure the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities.
- Participate in wider school activities.
- Ensure student's welfare and safety in every moment.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:

- NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and/or MBA).
- Experience in teaching art in a primary school curriculum to a high standard.
- Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in students and parents.
- Flexible, committed, professional, hard working, team player.
