As one of Northlands leading civil contractors, we are experts in civil engineering, industrial infrastructure, roading and pavements and water infrastructure. We have created a strong reputation for quality, innovation and the successful delivery of large-scale, often complex civil engineering infrastructure projects.

**We offer**:

- Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, hours are typically between 7am and 5pm.
- $90K to $135K depending on experience.
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience in estimation. Ideally 5 years experience in civil engineering as a intermediate estimator or project engineer.
- Capable of reading plans and construction documents including specifications and contracts.

**About the role**:
As a Civil Estimator, you will be responsible for producing consistent, accurate cost estimates for projects, coordinating the tender process, seeking quotes as well as building effective relationships with internal staff, external customers, suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Plan take-offs and pricing of all leads using CCS (Candy).
- Obtain sub-contractor and supplier pricing and respond to queries.
- Prepare project programs in MS Project for purposes of tender submission where requested.
- Create and maintain cooperative relationships that will promote effective teamwork between all stakeholders.
- Consult with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and material suppliers to discuss and formulate estimates, effective cost engineering and resolve issues.
- Monitor market trends, research where the market is heading and advise the business on the portfolio of forward opportunities.
- Identify potential commercial advantages, opportunities and problems in the tendering process and communicate findings with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of Construction Methodologies and Non-Price Attributes.
