About the Role
Pigeon Courier is seeking a fit, reliable and hardworking individual, for a permanent position, ideally with previous experience as a courier driver to join our Pakuranga based team.

About you
You will need to be a passionate, highly organized, and responsible individual, capable of multi-tasking, managing your time and problem solving when necessary.

Pigeon Courier prides itself on delivering to the highest standard so in order to succeed in this role you will be required to operate in line with company policy at all times.

As this is a customer-facing role, you will need to be well presented, have excellent communication skills and a willingness to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
As the successful applicant you will have:

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of stakeholders.
- The ability to multi-task, stay organized and manage your time effectively.
- Clean Valid Driver’s License.
- Minimum one-year Proven experience as a Courier Driver or a similar role.
- An understanding of brand representation and the ability to always operate professionally.

What is expected from you:

- Loading, transporting and delivering items in a safe and timely manner
- Loading and unloading items from vehicles
- Handling customer quarries, answering questions and escalating any complaints from clients
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
- Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries
- A Driver shall maintain a logbook and hand in the Employer’s copy each working day.
- Keeping the vehicle clean and tidy
- Maintain Alcohol and Drug free Work Environment. (Drug and Alcohol Testing will be carried out when necessary.)

Two positions are to be filled. You are required to work Monday to Friday. Should be willing to work on Saturdays during peak time. You will get a minimum of 30 hours per week. 30 - 34 NZD
