Permanent Part time

- **2.5 hours Saturday Morning**:

- **3.5 hours at home.**

The Onehunga Toy Library is on the seeking a new a Librarian.

This is a paid part time role; it involves 2.5 hours at the Toy Library on Saturday mornings and some work from home hours of 3.5. Total hours = 6 per week. Laptop will be provided.

This role would suit someone community minded, loves to deal with people and children. Written and verbal communication and people management skills are essential. Basic IT skills is beneficial, full training will be given to use the database and the running of library sessions.

As the librarian for our toy library, you will:
Be a welcoming and friendly face for our members at our weekly toy library sessions
Maintain the volunteer roster
Organize annual Christmas stock take, and Christmas hire fundraiser
Attend and provide feedback at committee meetings.
Help organize and co-ordinate fundraising events.
Be responsible for library set up and closing
Issue and check-in toys.
Follow process for overdue toys and issue fines
Sign up new members and organize payments
Keep the library organized and tidy
Manage member’s toy waitlists
Be able to recommend toys suitable for age groups
Check the condition of toys, label toys as needed, load new toys into the database and update toy photos
