Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Hutt Valley Hospital is currently looking for a caf supervisor to join our food service team. This position is full time, fixed term contract for 12 months. Usual hours are 6.30am-3pm, Monday to Friday.
The role includes staff leadership of five caf staff, customer service, making barista coffees, cash handling and general cleaning.
Hutt Valley caf s provide approximately over 500 coffees and meals a day. All meals are prepared and served fresh onsite. We are committed to ensuring a quality experience to our staff and visitors.

The caf team works closely with the wider food service staff in a supportive environment. Our Caf Stat team are well known within the hospital as making great coffee with exceptional service. We have a lot of repeat customers that rely on their coffee to get them through the day. We are busy

We are looking for someone who can think on their feet, is fast and efficient and used to working in a busy environment. You will need great communication skills and be able to lead by example.
