The vision of Stand Tū Māia is Tāmatatia and Tiakina. That tamariki and whānau who experience multiple forms of adversity will have their safety and wellbeing restored and preserved for future generations. To this end our services strengthen family relationships, support the development of child and adult self-regulation and core executive skills, and work to reduce sources of stress. We work to transform the lives of children and young people. The daily focus of our work is to protect children from further trauma, support their recovery and enhance their wellbeing.

We are seeking an exceptional leader to manage services in the East Coast Region. The role involves working with a range of professionals, providing clinical leadership, and facilitating standards of practice that support the delivery of lasting child and family outcomes.

You will be able to demonstrate:

- Financial and property managements skills
- Openness to understanding and valuing Te Ao Māori

- An ability to deeply engage, motivate and offer consistent kindness

- An ability to address the impacts of trauma on child development and attachment
- Belief in the importance of partnership and collaboration
- Commitment to professional supervision
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Ability to work independently utilising tools and theories to inform practice
- Eligibility for registration with the Social Work Registration Board, or have the ability to work towards achieving this
- Full driver's license.

You will work closely with the Chief Executive and Poutokomanawa, manage a small team of direct reports and be an integral part of the National Leadership Team.
