We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children's Hospital, located in central Auckland.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Cornwall House is one of four Community Mental Health Centres in Te Toka Tumai that service the central Auckland area. The multi-disciplinary team provides a range of assessment and recovery focused treatment options to people in the Te Toka Tumai catchment.
The urgent response service is a 24 hour Crisis service based at Greenlane Clinical Centre providing urgent assessments for people presenting in a mental health crisis.
Segar House-Rauaroha provides a specialist psychotherapy programme for people within Te Toka Tumai and Waitemata catchment areas.
As the Clinical Team Leader for these teams, you will bring both clinical leadership and operational management skills, ensuring the effective day to day operation of the service. This includes leading and implementing service developments, improvements and initiatives.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
The position requires a self-motivated and conscientious leader with a strong clinical and service user focus. You will relish the challenges and enjoy working in a supportive environment. You will have a positive attitude, flexibility and a proven ability to form good relationships with staff, service users and their families/whanau. Although experience in an operational management role is desirable, experienced mental health professionals with a desire to extend into a management role will be considered, and if successful will be supported in their development.
You will work collaboratively at a senior clinical level with clients, colleagues, mental health service providers, and other community agencies to promote service user recovery.
You will also be required to join the mental health on call manager roster providing after hours advice.
A full and clean driver's license is required
