- A bachelor’s degree or higher, in design / architecture
- Residential Design Experience with 1 year being in the NZ social housing sector
- Extensive experience in residential master planning
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Leading consultant meetings and presentations
- Must have experience with BC submissions through Consentium
- Full and comprehensive experience with Revit
- Extensive experience in document management.
- Sound understanding of construction principles and techniques.
- Skill in crafting detailed construction plans and specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

The key focus for this role is providing office-based as well as onsite & design services for our clients, with back up support from our wider team.

This is a full-time position, working a minimum of 40m hours per week.

**Your responsibilities will include the following**:
Providing architectural design, draughting and project administration services to Hierarchy Group Limited, or any strategic alliances that the Hierarchy Group Limited enters into with.

**This may include the following**:
Assist in management and engagement of staff and client relationships.

Management of time and fees against client budgets

Accountability for the team and meeting deliverables of the client

Training wider team in Hierarchy processes and procedures

Revit, Word and Excel documentation where necessary.

Arranging and attending site meetings with design and or project team personnel where appropriate.

Arranging and attending meetings with Hierarchy Group Limited clients and strategic alliances.

Liaising with clients, other industry professionals, local authorities and site personnel.

Review and offer design and structural solutions where necessary to facilitate the coordination and design process for individual projects.

Review specifications, documents and drawings provided by various consultants.

Check, coordinate, issue, and lodge own and other contracted consultants building consent documentation.

Carry out building consent and working drawing documentation.

Completion of Specifications.

Liaise with, site personnel and co-ordinate RFIs and/or distribute RFIs to contractors where necessary.

Collect, handover and issue building consent documentation where necessary to project managers and site personnel.

Carry out site monitoring where necessary, particularly with regard to architectural or structural snagging.

General digital and hard filing where necessary.

Producing minutes and distributing when necessary.

Provide general project administration services,

Assist Hierarchy Group Limited senior management to establish and maintain project management systems and procedures.
