**About the role**: The Digital Marketing Executive is an important role helping to grow and position the McKay group brands for the future. The role requires somebody who is highly creative yet structured, organised and motivated in there approach. Demonstrate knowledge in planning and executing content for social media and other digital channels whilst also being able to provide more traditional marketing support around events and promotions. The role will also contribute to the marketing strategy as McKay focuses on our large scale renewables opportunities and marine electrification along with our more established markets. This role is based at our Whangarei head office.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Working with the Business Development & Marketing Manager along with the wider BD team to develop market strategy for all sectors and align this with marketing goals
- Strategising company and brand campaigns in advance and seeking approval for implementation from Senior Exec team
- Delivering digital account-based marketing campaigns for large bids and tenders
- Developing and scheduling social media content across McKay and subsidiary company channels
- Establishing appropriate award categories for McKay to enter and managing the award submission process, from initial documentation to publicity
- Developing and pitching for external media opportunities in both print and digital publications
- Reviewing web analytics and determining best cause of action for increasing website traffic and engagement
- Familiarisation with competitor brands with a drive to ensure McKay Group companies maximise their position in the market
- Responsibility and planning for event management, including trade shows and conferences
- Copywriting on all levels
- Working with our regional teams to gain insight into works across New Zealand and showcasing this news through internal and external channels
- Creating branded materials, including brochures, adverts and social graphics using Adobe suite software and/or managing external resources to fulfill this work
- Shooting moving and still content with a focus on creatively engaging content
- Content planning and forward planning calendars
- Developing internal and external newsletter content and creating/sending newsletters using McKay’s marketing automation software
- Develop and maintain the McKay CRM (HubSpot) and other related systems
- Conduct market research based tasks and report on findings and results to wider team
- Working with other departments to ensure the correct presentation of the brand
- Working with partners to develop partnership marketing campaigns and content

**Requirements**:

- Integrity and ability to work unsupervised

Experience with digital media management

**Desirable**:

- Skills in using Adobe Suite Software
- Ability to use camera and video equipment and editing software

Previous experience in a marketing role
