You’ll work closely with our engineering and analytics teams to understand client needs and design and successfully deliver compelling market leading solutions. Sound good so far?

- Write maintainable and performant transformations in analytical warehouses.
- Work with data modellers to understand transformation requirements.
- Work with business users to produce reports or optimise reporting layers.
- Orchestration of production transformations.

**Requirements**:
The technology experience we’re looking for.

**The required skills that we’re after**:

- Deep experience with SQL
- Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding of benefits and trade-offs between analytical and transactional databases
- Experience with one or more data warehouses, e.g. Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Greenplum, Teradata
- Experience with query performance optimisation
- Understanding of benefits between modelling techniques, e.g. star schema, dimensional, denormalised

**The skills that we would love for you to have but that aren’t essential**:

- Experience with orchestration of production data transformations, e.g. with tooling like Airflow
- Understanding of modern data formats, e.g. Parquet, Avro
- Experience with data validation and data quality techniques
- Experience with software development lifecycle tooling, e.g. git
