We're on the search for an enthusiastic and creative Visual Designer to join our Service Design team. If you've got a great eye for detail, can create material and concepts that are compelling, engaging and persuasive that tell a story and represent from both te ao Pākehā and te ao Māori, and able to represent the voices of whānau and tamariki Māori in ways that are culturally appropriate, so that mana tamaiti and rangatiratanga are realised, then we want to hear from you.

Mō te tūnga | About the role
Working alongside the Senior Visual Designer, Service Design team and the Project team, you will be responsible for creating visual concepts that present often complex information and ideas in a manner that inspires and informs the audience.
You will be joining an established and highly functioning Service Design team that is based out of Wellington and Auckland and you will get the opportunity to both lead and support visual design initiatives within the community and the business.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring

**Key requirements of the role include**:

- Two - five years related work experience as an information designer.
- Excellent data visualisation and graphic design skills.
- Demonstrated experience with data visualisation software (Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Tableau, High Charts, and D3).
- Strong collaboration skills to work closely with the Service Design Team to develop material and concepts that are compelling, engaging and persuasive.
- Proven experience producing high fidelity prototypes.
- An in-depth understanding of visual design thinking methodologies and tools.
- High work standards and attention to detail.
- The ability to hit the ground running, come up to speed quickly and adapt to the role as required.
- Knowledge of Te Reo and tikanga Māori would be an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, data visualization or information design (or equivalent).
- Experience in web accessibility design.
