As the Inwards Coordinator, you will need an understanding of Airworthiness/Engineering policies surrounding conforming or non-conforming parts. On the job training will be provided for NZDF specific aeronautical policy requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to the Inwards Transit Section's receipt, processing, and distribution of all externally received consignments. The majority of the consignments are aeronautical components; therefore, Inwards Transit is responsible for these components entering the Supply Chain.
In addition to the receipting, processing and distribution of all externally received consignments, there is a training component of this position. You will have opportunity to facilitate training for new staff, supervise to ensure compliancy over a fixed time period and assess staff on competency in accordance with relevant policy and procedure.
**Please Note**: The formal title for this role within NZDF Is Inwards Transit Local Coordinator.

We are looking for a person with some experience in logistics, warehousing or purchasing and goods receipting.

**You will need to have**:

- A good level of computer literacy, preferably in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively.
- Exposure to SAP and/or SRM will be an advantage.
- Good communication skills enabling you to liaise comfortably across the organisation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer focus.
- NZ driver licence class 1 with F endorsement.

IATA and HSNO qualifications can be gained while in this role so a willingness to learn and undergo relevant training is essential.
Due to the nature of this role, there is no option to work remotely.
