Role available from mid Jan 2024

Monday - Friday (6:00am to 2:30pm)

Join the team at Cater Plus, a locally owned industry leader with three passions - food, exceptional service and our people. We have an opening for a hospitality superstar for a special food service contract in Mount Wellington. With 400 employees on site, our client provides lunch meals and at times packaged dinner meals for their people

Think a meal service that is on trend, full of flavour with a healthy twist and you get to be a part of it. You will actively support our Head Chef to prepare the daily breakfast and salad buffet and plate meals in a high energy atmosphere. During service times you will need to be fast, efficient and show a high level of communication with both the customers and your team. This role needs someone who can multitask with the added duty of keeping the kitchen/café clean and hazard free including dish duties.

To be successful we are looking for an honest and reliable and responsible person who can:

- assist with food preparation and cleaning
- understand a basic level of computer literacy
- understands the basics of food safety
- work hard as a reliable and loyal team player who can stay cool under pressure
- utilise great communication skills and a can-do attitude
- enjoy working with customers and keep them coming back for more
- good baking skills would be an advantage.
