Sampling Specialist

**The Role**

We are on the lookout for a Sampling Specialist to join our busy team. This role will require you to be across both our Mangere and Pokeno sites.

You will be responsible for a variety of sampling tasks within the laboratory team including:

- Sub sampling of our final product which we manufacture in the plant
- Sub sampling of raw materials,
- Processing in process samples and performing other sampling requests as required by our internal teams.
- You will work to standard operating procedures (SOP’S) and work towards KPI time frames.
- Manual handling will be required, so you will need to pick up to 25kg loads on a regular basis.

The shift pattern is Tuesday to Friday from 07:00am - 15:30pm at our Mangere site and on Saturday’s it will be 7:30am - 16:00pm at the Pokeno site. This role is predominantly based in Mangere however travel will be required to Pokeno so flexibility to travel is a must.

Key to your success will be your proactive response to learning and your ability to build strong and supportive relationships with internal and external teams. We are firstly looking for people with a good attitude and willingness to learn however if you do have laboratory experience or similar it will be well received

**Skills and Experience**

To be considered for this role will require
- Some experience in regulated laboratory environments would be an advantage
- The ability and enthusiasm to learn proactively
- Having an innovative mindset and taking pride in your work
