ABI Rehabilitation has two Psychologist opportunities available:

- **1 x Clinical Psychologist**

This is an exciting opportunity to experience a varied post-acute caseload and contribute to key clinical areas including neuropsychological assessment, mental health within the rehabilitation setting, addictions, and emotional adjustment to injury for clients and families, and behaviour management. You will be working within the intensive service inter-professional team.
- **1 x Behavioural Psychologist**

This role will provide evidence-informed behavioural management interventions to clients from the immediate post-acute phase through to community re-integration. This is an ideal role for a psychologist who is looking to be part of a dynamic team, grow their assessment skills whilst also advancing their own specialist clinical knowledge.

**_ Why ABI Rehabilitation?_**

ABI Rehabilitation is the lead provider of intensive in-patient brain injury rehabilitation in New Zealand, serving over 85% of this population. We are the only provider in Australasia to have attained CARF Accreditation, an international gold standard for person centred, quality rehabilitation.

**The caseload is varied and key areas include**:

- Risk assessments
- Participate in monitoring restraints and restraint minimisation
- Collaborative team working
- Development and implementation of behavioural management plans
- Client goal setting
- Delivering training and education to clients, families/whānau and provide in house training programmes to staff

We can offer excellent opportunities for professional development within a supportive and cohesive interdisciplinary team environment. Regular supervision and in-service training will be provided. Previous experience in acquired brain injury rehabilitation is preferred but not essential.
