Petone Housekeeper

Idyllically located on the Petone beachfront, Lollipops Petone provides high quality care and education in an inspiring and stimulating setting, with plenty of space for action and adventure. Our passionate and dedicated team have created an engaging, nurturing space where children are encouraged to be inquisitive, independent and confident. Lollipops Petone is an easy walk to great coffee, excellent food and a variety of shops to satisfy your retail needs.

Our tāmariki at Lollipops Petone rely on us to provide a safe and healthy environment so they can focus on their learning You will be working four hours per day anywhere between 9am and 3pm; so we can work with the hours that will suit you. This is for 5 days per week (Mon-Fri), which will allow you to keep your evenings and weekends free, with flexibility to meet your family needs.

While our teaching team is engaged in the learning programme, you will be a critical addition to our team to ensure that the tāmariki in our care have the quality time spent with them that they so deserve.

What your day with us will look like:

- Supporting with delivering kai for our learners and assisting with lunch clean up
- On occasion you may be required to spend time supporting our teachers in the classrooms.
- Resetting learning spaces alongside our team so our children and teachers can access resources and equipment that meets the daily needs of our learners.
- Responsible for the day to day cleaning of the centre, including maintaining bathroom cleanliness throughout the day and keeping our children's sleep areas tidy.
- Maintaining equipment and informing Management of supply needs and equipment faults in a timely manner
- Laundry requirements such as washing, folding and rotation of soft furnishings
- Maintaining positive interactions with the team, children, and families at all times

You will need to be energetic, organized, and good at multitasking.
