**The Role**

We are seeking a talented, creative and self-motivated up and coming publicity professional to support in the delivery of outstanding publicity results across the WBD portfolio and be a strong member of the dynamo PR team.

This role supports the senior team members’ efforts to promote news and entertainment brands and content in New Zealand across the portfolio of brands - including FTA, STV and streaming platform ThreeNow. This role aims to deliver first class consumer publicity and build the profile of local talent.

As is the nature of the Publicity and being part of a global business there may be requirements out of standard business hours therefore flexible working hours may be required.

**Key Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Senior Publicist ANZ, this role requires a confident, organized, smart and motivated team-player who can work quickly in order to manage the needs of individuals and outlets inside and outside the organization to achieve the goals of WBD.
- Collate, assess and write copy for monthly highlights for ANZ brands
- Manage the network’s weekly listing requirements across ANZ channels as directed
- Gather and file imagery for programmes and talent across ANZ brands as directed
- Liaise with media to provide accurate and timely programming information
- Gather, collate and execute data insights for publicity reach and relevant reporting using specific data gathering tools
- Support Senior Publicist ANZ with unit and other publicity requirements for local productions and titles as directed
- All aspects of securing publicity; from preparing media releases & press kits, constructing media itineraries, support in the management talent, booking facilities and working with media to secure and deliver the desired outcome by WBD.
- With support of senior members of the team, create and implement press plans that drive buzz and awareness for local and international programming and talent
- Support efforts to build the Warner Bros. Discovery corporate identity across ANZ

**Talent Strategy & Relationships**
- Assist with talent relationships and profile building as required across the portfolio of brands, local and international as required

**Reporting**
- Collate and circulate PR reports across AU and NZ for internal and external use

**Collaboration**
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including brand managers, producers, social, external PR teams, franchise and consumer products (where relevant) to support key comms strategic beats.
- Identify publicity opportunities to leverage / collaborate WBD content and talent that will excite and engage media outlets.
- Support in the collaboration with talent management to achieve best overall results.

**Desired Skills & Experience**:

- At least two years’ experience within a publicity or communications role
- Proven experience in media relations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on repetitive tasks to fixed weekly deadlines, with high attention to detail
- Experience managing media reporting data and/or data analysis preferred
- Able to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated
- Confidence to deal directly with media, internal and external stakeholders to obtain information or solve issues
- Adaptable, positive attitude with the ability to work through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills; a team player able to work with many different personalities in a highly matrixed and international structure
- A good working knowledge and interest of the television or media industry
- Degree educated
