Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

As a Maintenance and Renewals Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing maintenance teams within the CCA, a partnership between Hamilton City Council and Downer. Based from our Manchester Place, Hamilton office, the role is a critical part of our team, your day to day activities will include but are not limit to:

- Developing and delivering the maintenance activity programme and managing against Target Cost Estimate (TCE)
- Tracking Target Cost versus Actuals for each maintenance activity within the CCA
- Organisation of efficient work programmes, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring both customer and worksite safety.

- Engineering or related qualification OR significant on-the-job technical and supervisory experience
- Have experience using RAMM Contractor competency
- Experience in urban maintenance or a strong desire to work in this field
- Experience working working the network maintenance & civil construction industry (desirable)
- Effective communication skills to confidently communicate, motivate and problem solve at all levels
