We are expanding our BMW portfolio in New Zealand, adding a state of the art motorcycle dealership to our flagship dealership located in Kaiwharawhara Wellington. Our dealerships operate as part of the Sime Darby Motors Group which is one of the largest BMW retailers in the world and as such has made a significant investment in New Zealand to ensure customers are given a world-class experience beyond any other.

With the continuous growth of our Retail businesses, our Motorrad dealership is now looking for an experienced Motorcycle Technician. This dealership will be one of the newest and biggest BMW Motorrad dealerships in New Zealand presenting world-class state-of-the-art facility with activities spanning over four levels of dedicated bespoke areas for M-cars, electric iBrand as well as an extensive range of New and Used vehicles for sale, and soon to be Motorrad.

**About the Role and Responsibilities**

Our Service Centre is looking for an experienced Motorcycle Technician to join their busy workshop. With the use latest diagnostic technology, you are to ensure BMW Motorrad vehicles are kept in top condition with only Genuine BMW parts and diagnostic equipment. As the new Motorcycle Technician, you are to ensure;
- Motorcycles are serviced, maintained, and repaired to BMW Motorrad and company standards
- Electrical and mechanical repairs and servicing as per customer's request
- May inspect vehicles and issue WOF certificates or detail works required to obtain WOF certificate
- Minimise all cost overruns and delays in time and re-work

**To be successful in this role, you must**:

- Have a Level 4 Automotive Certificate or
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience
- Ideally be WOF certified - but not essential
- Previous experience in European brand will be an advantage
- Possess strong mechanical skills and diagnostic experience
- High level of computer and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Deliver a positive attitude and strong work ethic
