**Abou**t the opportunity**

We're looking for a Logistics Team Leader to join our team based in Nelson.
Joining T&G Global as a **Logistics Team Leader** is a brilliant opportunity to grow your career.

Reporting to our Coolstore Manager, this role leads, directs, plans, provides systems, standards and coordination for all Finished Goods and Dispatch operational functions and personnel.

Key responsibilities include;
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of opportunities that offer potential for improving regional Coolstore operational efficiency and effectiveness, to maximise the assets and market access.
- Lead by example on all safety matters
- Ensure all appropriate actions are taken to assist with the implementation of the company’s H&S Policy and Procedures and given action
- Monitor and manage staffing and hours
- Participate in annual budget and capex development
- Ensure Compliance is managed on a weekly basis
- Actively support the development of a strong and cohesive working relationship within the NZ Postharvest Team.
- Ensure effective relationships are established and maintained with stakeholders (staff, growers, customers, external suppliers etc.)
- Lead, coach team member(s) to ensure the achievement of operational and individual development objectives
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement
