Work Location: various sites within the Bay of Plenty
- Hourly rate: $28.18 - $32.00 /hour gross, depending on your experience
- Hours/week: a minimum of 30 hours, no more than 70 hours per week depending upon weather and site conditions, from Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm

**TGW CONSTRUCTION LIMITED** is looking for painter assistant to join their upcoming projects.

**What you will do**:

- Loading and unloading painting materials, tools and equipment
- Sanding, cleaning and preparing surfaces to be painted.
- Assisting painters in mixing and matching paint colours
- Repairing cracks, damaged GIB ceiling, walls and skirting.
- Assisting painters in hanging wallpaper, matching patterns and trimming edges
- Assisting painters in spraying paint or powder-coat objects.
- Polishing the finished product.
- Maintaining tools, equipment and work areas
- Keeping workspace and tools clean.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in painting or working at a construction site is preferred, while a great attitude is the most important qualification.
- Great attention to detail
- Health and safety conscious
- Must be reliable
- A willingness to learn and adapt
