Are you a process-driven, detail orientated professional, seeking a new challenge?

We have a part time, fixed term (6 months) opportunity to be a part of Nurse Maude's history, developing policies and processes as we prepare to open our Simulation and Assessment Centre in central Merivale.

We are looking for someone to start immediately and are open to discussing flexibility within the hours of work, with a preference for at least 32 hours per week, including some onsite requirements.

Nurse Maude is a well-known and highly regarded organisation who have been providing care to the community for over 120 years. We now face an exciting moment in Nurse Maude's history, having been contracted to administer Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) for the Nursing Council of New Zealand as part of the registration process of internationally qualified nurses.

Te Mahi/About the Position

We are seeking a process-driven, detail orientated professional to work with us for 6 months as we operationalise our custom-built Simulation and Assessment Centre.

This is a fixed term, part time position, with capacity for flexible hours, working from our central Merivale site.

The focus of this role will be on:

- Working with key stakeholders to gather and collate information.
- Writing policies and procedures to support operational activities.
- Ensuring document control, excellent formatting and sound filing systems.

There will be time pressures to achieve the task at hand, therefore we are seeking an experienced policy writer/ document controller who can hit the ground running.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Strong computer skills, with the ability to navigate different programmes and format documentation.
- Experience developing policies and procedures.
- Experience and success working at pace.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a desire to see through your solution.
- A natural affinity with people, and the ability to build professional working relationships.

The preferred applicant will have familiarity with the health sector.
