PAK'nSAVE Tamatea are seeking an experienced store person to join our team as a Storeroom Specialist. This is a key role to assist with the efficient operation of our Inwards Goods department and storeroom.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
The role is responsible for unloading delivery trucks, receiving and receipting our daily orders, building good relationships with suppliers and colleagues, and ensuring the stock is organised and rotated correctly. There are several processes to follow such as temperature checking all chilled and frozen deliveries, and ensuring the Traffic Management plan is followed to keep people safe around moving vehicles.

**ABOUT YOU**:
Our Storeroom team plays a vital role in ensuring stock is accurately managed through the storeroom and onto the grocery shelves for our customers to purchase. It is important that our team members are personable and communicate effectively. You will have strong numeracy skills and show excellent attention to detail. You will to be confident using technology and have a high level of computer literacy. In this role you'll need to be organised and systematic when following processes. You will work closely with the Grocery and Inventory/Pricing teams.

This is a permanent full time position working 40 hours per week.

The roster for this position is:
Tuesday - Thursday: 8am - 4:30pm

Friday & Saturday: 5am - 1:30pm

You must be able to demonstrate these key attributes:

- Hold a current OSH certificate and be confident operating a forklift and/or reach truck
- Ability to problem solve and adapt to challenges
- Adhere to our Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements at all times
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Physically able and extremely reliable
