Cleaner Supervisor

Ventia are currently seeking a Cleaner Supervisor to join their team at the Whanganui Hospital.

This role is responsible for undertaking cleaning supervisor duties and assist with all aspects of the cleaning service under the direction of the Cleaning Services Coordinator.

The Supervisor will contribute to the efficient and effective cleaning service delivered within the MDHB facilities by ensuring that all duties prescribed for cleaners are completed to an acceptable standard as detailed within the cleaning framework.

**ABOUT YOU**

Knowledge of infection control practices and regulations are an advantage and strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are key to your success in this role.

**Other experience required**
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of cleaning staff
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties as needed
- Further certification or training in cleaning services is a plus
