**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**
We are currently seeking an exceptional Specialty Clinical Nurse to be responsible for the coordination and management of study protocols based within ICU at the Bay of Plenty District Health Board. You will work closely with patients and their families and develop and maintain key partnerships within the unit to ensure a coordinated approach to research projects.
The main purpose of this position is to:
- Lead the organising, planning and implementation of research activities within ICU
- Facilitate clinical trials within the service in consultation with the Clinical Director and Principal Investigators
- Advise and educate staff, study participants and their whānau/family
This is a permanent 0.5FTE position, working 40 hours per fortnight. If you have significant ICU nursing experience, a proficient level PDRP, and a postgraduate qualification which includes specialty nursing /research - this is the role for you
