We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a People Data & Systems Analyst with 1-2 years of relevant experience to join our team across New Zealand.

The People Data + Systems Analyst is responsible for managing and analysing people data and systems to support effective data governance, decision making and strategic initiatives within Tonkin + Taylor Group. In this role you will be:

- Working with various stakeholders across New Zealand to identify and provide recommendations regarding areas of improvement in HR processes in support of effective data and system management.
- Collecting, cleansing, analyzing and interpreting people data from a variety of system and sources.ac
- Developing reports, templates, scorecards and metrics to communicate key insights to relevant stakeholders and enable data driven decisions and actions across the company.
- Data gathering and developing user-friendly dashboards that enable efficient data analysis and reporting, and provide insights for evidence-based decision making.
- Coordinating organisational system changes and troubleshooting system issues, supporting upgrades and implementing enhancements based on business requirements.
- Continuously ensuring data integrity and accuracy across all matters, evaluating processes and workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintaining compliance with applicable data privacy laws and regulations, ensuring proper handling and protection of personal and sensitive people data.

- A Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent relationship building skills with both customers and team members.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills or keen to learn them.
- Power BI is an advantage.
- A passion for all things data and analytics.
- Brings initiative, thinks proactively about new ways of doing things, flexible and adaptable in approach and eager to learn.
- Advanced MS Excel and Word skills or keen to learn them. Power BI skills is an advantage.
- Ability to quickly pick up and understand issues, deal with situations, understand business need, and make good judgements.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
